When everyone reads minds, a secret is a dangerous thing to keep.

Sixteen-year-old Kira Moore is a zero, someone who can’t read thoughts or be read by others. Zeros are outcasts who can’t be trusted, leaving her no chance with Raf, a regular mindreader and the best friend she secretly loves. When she accidentally controls Raf’s mind and nearly kills him, Kira tries to hide her frightening new ability from her family and an increasingly suspicious Raf. But lies tangle around her, and she’s dragged deep into a hidden world of mindjackers, where having to mind control everyone she loves is just the beginning of the deadly choices before her.

The book reminds me about the usual YA books I always read, I say this because I'm trying to read other genres lately but YA is still on my top list. For me the uniqueness of this book is awe-inspiring, so far I haven't read something like this in my entire bookish life, what I meant is I haven't read something that involves the mind control thing. Honestly, I somehow envied the main character because of her power, I'm dreaming to have one for ages but I know that's impossible.

The first time I saw this book in NetGalley I am thrilled and excited to have a copy. The cover is interesting and the title is catchy. I read the blurb too and that makes me decide that I should request a copy.

The book contains an interesting story of Kira Moore a sixteen year old girl who thinks she is a zero, she's worried that she might not change anymore like those other children around her including Raf. Mind readers are normal but zeroes are useless and can't be trusted. Kira happens to be a different person, she belongs to a new set of people called mindjackers and that's where the start of her new life.

Praise for the author of this book Susan Kaye Quinn for creating such an interesting book. I love how the mind power works here I'm awestruck. My imagination works in every little detail of the story. Then when I'm writing a review I suddenly remembered the last book that I've read it gives me goosebumps like this one but the difference here is the mind works, it didn't include any physical powers to fight the fact that the mind only works for this is such an amazing creation.

All in all,  the book is such a mind-bending masterpiece and it is full of peachy scenes.
